Many a fashionista is excited to visit their mailboxes eagerly anticipating the arrival of the coveted September issues of their favorite magazines. With the September issues come new products, a focus on the latest trends and of course advertising and brands all vying for your attention. I for one am a huge fan of Essence Magazine and I was pleasantly surprised to get a first hand glimpse of the comprehensive re-branding of one of my favorite curvy girl shopping destinations-Lane Bryant. The premier plus sized retailer has been around for over 110 years and this fall marks the first overhaul of the companies advertising and branding since 2008.
The new campaign features a sleek logo and merges lifestyle and personal imagery with the fashion images captured by photographer Alexi Lubomirski. The tagline for the new campaign resonates “FASHION FOR EVERYDAY, STYLE JUST FOR YOU“.
