Style Item of the Week-Black Opal Mineral Mosaic Palettes

by Lisa

Every once in awhile I come across a product that I truly love and when I love something I have to share it with you! This week, I am happy to introduce Black Opal’s Mineral Mosaic Palettes. These shadows have amazing pigmentation and I frequently find myself using the Gold Galaxy which features colors that range from rich gold, brilliant oranges and the most amazing yellow. Couple my love with the rich colors with the fact that a gold eye paired with a nude lip is very on trend for summer and you have perfect love affair

Black Opal Mineral Mosaic Palettes retails for $8.95

Stay prettiful!

A 3-in-1 Cleanser That Works!

I am always looking for anything that will save me time with my overall “get pretty” routine. Often one- step cleansers fall short of their promises to clean, remove make up and moisturize, and inevitably leave me feeling either too dry, or too oily. Enter Purete Thermale 3-in-1 Facial Cleanser by Vichy. I absolutely love this product! A “One Step Cleanser Cleansing Milk, Toning lotion and eye makeup remover all in one. A combination of ubiquinone, a cellular respiration activator, and nutrient-rich Vichy Thermal Spa Water”

Vichy is great for folks with normal to dry skin, and it leaves you feeling both cleansed and moisturized in one easy step.

Renowned nail guru Jin Soon has developed a delicious nail collection for MAC cosmetics. The high-gloss formula comes in three finishes- cream, sheer and frosted and I absolutely love the colors!!

Dry martini is a perfect fall neutral with olive green undertones, and Cool Reserve comes in a lilac-pink shade that’s perfect for the fashionista who likes a more understated shade.

The colors are available beginning August 27th.

Style Item of the Week L’Oreal Jelly Balm

The L’Oreal HIP Jelly Balm is one of my absolute favorite new products in the HIP line. It’s perfect for summer, especially when you want to give them a little something extra at the beach, or poolside.

The colors are sheer, with just the right balance of moisture, without stickiness. I am also completely in love with the Kohl eyeliner, and the HIP shadow. The price point is one of the best things about these products- They can all be found at a Target near you!

Style Item of the Week- Butter by Keba

The GF loves her smell good, and I was recently introduced to a fab new product called Butter by Keba. The fragrant 2-in-1 moisturizing, body butters were created by Makeba Lloyd- ‘born in Harlem and produced in Brooklyn’ and they do an amazing job of moisturizing your skin, without any greasy residue.

The body butters warm when they touch the skin, and the Georgia Tea fragrance reminds me of warm summer nights, sipping sun tea on my grandmothers’ porch. The Georgia Tea notes include list, passion flower and peach nectar- yummy!

Check them out for yourself:

Style Item of the week-Stiletto Survival

This past Sunday, I watched a fellow fashionista struggle while her foot slipped out of her stilettos as she tipped her way into church.

Girlfriend was dressed to the nines in a well tailored black suit, with a gorgeous blouse; however her foot slippage seriously detracted from her entire look.

In order to keep your shoe game on point (and avoid ensemble ruining foot slips) The GF recommends Heavenly Heels by Foot Petals.

Your feet will thank you!

Style Item of the Week-Hello Kitty

The GF consistently manages to get sucked into “shopping television”. I swear, I can flip thru channels with every intention of watching something else and then BAM! I get sucked into someone’s presentation on HSN, or QVC.

Well this Hello Kitty Diamonique pendant is too adorable (found on QVC) not to share with my fellow fashionistas, and the low price point makes it my style item of the week.

Happy Shopping!

Style Item of the week- Valentines Day Edition

In honor of “Love Day” my style items of the week all pay tribute to valentines day.

The GF is what you would call a practical romantic. For example, my honey do and I are going out for dinner on Friday, and we will spend Saturday night at home, enjoying a home cooked meal, candles, well you get the picture .

I am truly looking forward to what promises to be a very romantic evening… B, this one is for you.

the bond between man and woman, and child
